At Polytalk 2018, We Shared Our Efforts on Reducing Marine Waste
PolyTalk 2018 was held in Malta on April 26–27. During the two-day event, more than 190 senior executives from politics, industry, media, NGOs, and academia came together to develop circular solutions, waste management strategies, and other measures addressing marine pollution worldwide. Representing WFO (Waste Free Oceans), for which we chair the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, we shared our efforts on reducing marine waste with the participants at the PolyTalk 2018 conference.
In his speech at PolyTalk 2018, Yavuz Eroğlu, President of PAGÇEV and Chairman of SEM Plastik, stated:
"What matters is being a Responsible Industry. No industry’s job ends with producing and selling products that make consumers’ lives easier. It is also our duty to ensure that waste is recycled and harmonized with the environment, which ensures the continuity of our work."
