T.C. Within the scope of “Waste Management Symposium 2017” organized by the Ministry of Environment and urbanization in Antalya, we undertook the chairmanship of the session and presented “zero waste approach in Waste Management and sample applications”.

In the symposium held between February 26-March 02, 2017 with the aim of strengthening, developing and exchanging information with related stakeholder groups (universities, private sector, NGOs, chambers and associations, institutes, municipalities) and evaluating in the fields of waste management, our presentation attracted great interest.

In the presentation, the developments in polymer and plastic processing technologies, Good Manufacturing Practices and innovative approaches in product design and information about weight reduction in plastic products are explained together with application examples. Thanks to improvements in CO2 emissions of applications and contributions to sustainable economy, the advantages of plastic products, compared to products made from other equivalent materials, were shared with the audience.
