Istanbul Chamber of industry (ISO) awarded the “energy efficiency project for thermoform production “in the” Environmental Awards " organized by the 13th. SEM plastik group, announced at the Third Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai in December 2012, took part in two companies among the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Turkey. Credoy polymer, the raw material supplier of the group, was able to be 28 and SEM plastik was able to be 38. Credoy polymer grew 93 percent annually between 2009 and 2011, while SEM Plastik, the flagship of the group operating in the plastic packaging sector, recorded an annual growth of 46 percent in the same period.

In 2011, sem plastik was ranked 62th among the fastest growing companies in Turkey in the competition which was realized with the joint initiative of Harvard Business School, TOBB and TEPAV and awarded the fastest growing companies. Turkey, Middle East, North Africa and the Near East region was awarded among the first 100 companies.

Sem plastik won the “bronze medal” award in 2010-2012 as part of the traditional “successful taxpayers” work organized by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce every year.

SEM Plastik is the only supplier of McDonald's that hasn't changed since he came to Turkey, and this combination is crowned with McDonald's 'most stable supplier' award.

In the 2011 contest of the stars of the packaging, Ulker received a prize with an ice cream cake container designed for the packaging. 

In 2006, SEM plastic's ship design stand received the ‘Best Design Award ' at the International Tourism and travel fair (ITCA) in Valencia, Spain.

With a ceremony held at Izmir Aliağa refinery in 46th anniversary of its establishment, sem Plastik was awarded the "New Product Development Special Award".

AllWorld network, founded by Michael Porter, Professor of Business Administration at Harvard University, gave SEM plastic General Manager Yavuz Eroglu the Special Award for his work on entrepreneurship and his first industrial investment in Palestine.

Yavuz Eroğlu, the chairman of the Board of Directors, was elected to the Middle East Commercial Center (MECC) Advisory Board and to represent Turkey under the recommendation of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. We met with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the occasion of this international establishment in which our investment in Palestine was chosen for contributing to regional peace and economic prosperity.

The 2015 Sustainability Academy has identified successful business models of the year within the scope of “Sustainable Business Awards”. Big companies such as Tofaş, Unilever and Pepsico have been rewarded in the competition.
