The book, composed of the compilation of interviews published in the morning newspaper every Tuesday under the name of inventor Kobi, shed light on the commercial and intellectual map of the Turkish business world. SECRET HERO OF AIRPLANE CUISINE

There's a SME in the kitchen of world-famous airlines. SEM plastik was the supplier of THY, Emirates and Singapore Airlines, producing the first plastic crystal glass and oven molten plate.

Standard injection molding machines (sem) plastic Aş, which started its production life in 1975, managed to enter among the most R & D companies of Turkey. SEM Plastik, the first plastic crystal glass in Turkey and the production of moleless plastic plates in the oven, makes production to the largest airline companies in Turkey and the world.  Thanks to R&D investments, the company has added Turkish Airlines, Emirates and Singapore Airlines, as well as Turkish DO & CO and LSG Sky Chefs to its catering customers. The company, which is progressing rapidly on its way to becoming a big company, is also serving food producers such as Unilever and Danone.

Factory Established In Palestine

SEM has a wide range of products including plastic cups, plates, cutlery, ice cream boxes, buttermilk cups, yoghurt containers and food packaging. Headquartered in Istanbul, the company is the largest indoor manufacturer of its sector with its 20 thousand square meter factory in Silivri as well as its 8 thousand 500 square meter production facility in Malatya. The company also has a factory in Palestine with an indoor area of 1200 square meters. This factory draws attention to the fact that it is the first and only Turkish industrial investment in Palestine. SEM Plastik General Manager Yavuz Eroğlu stated that the plastics packaging sector was the export champion in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and said: “in 2011, we exported $ 22 million worth of exports to 85 countries, including Europe, the Far East and the Middle East. We are also investigating the growth potential of neighboring countries.”
